Talk Box

Welcome to Talk Box! Talk Box is a wonderful resource for parents of young children from birth to 12 years of age. It was designed by speech-language pathologists from the Capital Health and the Calgary Health Regions and was funded by the Alberta Children and Youth Initiative. This resource gives parents and care-givers suggestions on creating a language-rich environment anywhere they are as they interact with their child. The Talk Box was designed by speech-language pathologists but is not meant as a substitute. Below is a link to a variety of resources you can use with your child such as a speech and sound checklist, a talking and listening checklist, newsletters for specific ages, monthly activities, direction on use, a resource list, and so on.
